No longer welcome in my own home

That does sound horrendous. I have stopped going to local meetings, not for that reason. I am one of those who joined the Labour Party in order to vote for Jeremy Corbyn. I had voted Labour all my life until recently and I had joined the Green Party as i felt so disillusioned with Labour. I saw JC as authentic labour. A man of the people. My one slight fear is that he doesn't have the aggression that seems to be required to lead a party. But then, he is a pacifist. And he wants to change politics and change the world.

He was elected with a vast majority, as you said, you too voted for him. But Rome wasn't built in a day. His style is more deep and tactical than overtly aggressive.

I think the anger amongst the membership is largely because it is widely reported that the coup was planned ten months ago. People in the party have been working to undermine him from day one. The staggered resignations were staged and no one likes a conspiracy against the elected leader.

I voted for Angela Eagle second. I now feel quite sick that I voted for someone who was just waiting for her time to strike, like a snake.

I happen to believe that people are widely disillusioned with ranting politicians and Jeremy's cool calm style is the kind of remedy which is good for everyone.
