Color Clashing… My two personalities’ clash

No one needs to tell anyone that everyone has two sides to life — the one that we want everyone to know and the other we keep to ourselves (or perhaps you don’t want to face it even). These — my two sides are what I call — COLOR CLASHING.

On the first side, we pretend that nothing is wrong and act like we have everything together while on the other side we feel alone wondering why we are alone and cannot have somebody to share our problems.

But life is like a coin. It has pleasure and sadness on both sides with every side waiting for its turn. There is a need to recognize the biased mentality that emerges in the desire for more pleasure and less pain. Because this pleasure principle is the basis of all our mental biases. This is the way life works. We cannot fix the match to predict the ending. If there is no suspense left at all, how life is supposed to be wonderful?

Isn’t it just a crime to fix a match in your country? Then, why to match-fix our life?

….Why not let’s see what the hell happens. We know that there is no tomorrow but NOW. And if we can manage to handle our NOW — thoughts, emotions, decisions, and perspectives — it’s all there. What just is needed is to make our life experiences profound enough and intense enough.

Can you relate human nature with a coin? Human thoughts and desires are contradictory, why?

What we say is the opposite of what we do — this has a strong connection with our two personality types. Which side do we want to dominate, the good one or the bad one?

Now, imagine yourself on a road and a beggar comes to you. Do you offer him some money or do you believe that begging is a curse?

What is the first thought that comes to your mind?

Is it, YES, we should give them a penny at least?

Right after that, a contradictory thought appears giving you reasons and logic not to provide them with a penny.

What do you believe which one was the right thought?

Now, take another example. A friend of yours or a mate needs your help. What will be your preference?

I must help him. OR

Why me?

It seems in one body; two persons are living. Both contradict each other and the dominating is the one you listen and obey to.

All this is a matter of our choices. Neglecting the existence of an object doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Similarly, we are always in a grey zone. There is no perfect white or black.

No. I am not saying that it’s a matter of beliefs in divine forces. I’m just talking about humanity, human nature, and psychology. All this is what I am trying to study in me. Studying how my acceptance or rejection of certain facts amplify the positive/negative effects on my life.

Emotions are always dominating. We are always feeling certain emotions that are directly affecting our thinking. This world is driven by human emotions. Who is popular in the world, in the country is still driven by emotions.

Irrational personality — a personality that doesn’t let us know that our emotions are controlling our thoughts.

We spend months to years of life clashing with our personality, our mindset, and our souls.

Why it is?

Is it due to the environmental circumstances or due to our resistance to growth or stresses from the group effect?

Stress brings out our true side when we are put under pressure. Try to practice patience.

What is the group effect?

Whenever I am surrounded by people with various beliefs discussing several topics — religious, political, or liberals. I am caught up with certain emotions as all the talks relate to me. Whatever environment we are in, brings out the part of us we were never familiar with.

All I need is to increase my reaction time by bringing myself out of the situation.

One of my worst sides is firstly I say I like a person by all means. Then, after some time, I make a list of expectations and try to change the person the way I like. We all are narcissists, some deeper on the spectrum than others.

YES, Humans are social animals, by the time we were born we have a need to get attention either by positive or negative means. The thing I try most is to mask my insecurities which is — attention is my survival. That’s what I highly dislike.

We don’t understand that every person is like a new undiscovered country with new chemistry to explore. All I need is to increase my reaction time by bringing myself out of the situation. Only by maintaining my grey zone, I can cope with my two personalities which I called color clashing.

THANKS FOR READING. PEACE!
