Ketu

OM shram shreem shroum sah ketave namah

As mentioned in Rahu’s articles, just like Rahu is the head part, the torso part is called Ketu. A headless shadowy planet. For that very reason, Ketu dominant people work heavily on their intuitions. They don’t judge anyone based on their appearance and background. But sometimes they make headless decisions. And that’s the best part when it comes to spirituality, not to bother your head.

Let’s have a look at what Ketu signifies.

· It is capable of leaving an impression on the masses and easily influencing the lives of others.

· Ketu is recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature.

· It defines a person who cherishes or pursues high or noble principles, purposes, goals, etc. as a visionary or impractical person. a person who represents things as they might or should be, rather than as they are.

· It creates the tendency of giving up what you want so that other people can have what they need or want.

· It makes you instinctive. One feels to be true even without conscious reasoning.

· It promotes the indirect or small distinction between two things or ideas.

Let’s read some quotes on Ketu.

From the TV Series: TWIN PEAK

“Can you see through a wall? Can you see through human skin? X-rays see through solid, or so-called solid objects. There are things in life that exist, and yet our eyes cannot see them.”

From the movie: KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE

“- Clara: What’s the matter?

- Eggsy: Nothing. I just feel that our spirit animals need more time to get in sync and find a harmonious bond on the spiritual plane.”

There is more to it. Let’s pop some bitter pills.

· Ketu appears unconventional and slightly strange.

· It supports iconoclasm.

· It promotes excessive, irrational zeal and extreme devotion.

· It can cause an outburst of anger or controversy.

· At times, it intends to hurt, damage, or destroy someone or something.

· It believes in the quality of being inconsistent with customs, rules, etc.; originality.

· It shows no concern about whether the behavior is morally right or wrong.

· It has the tendency to act without thinking.

· It has a constant feeling of psychological strain and uneasiness.

Below are the quotes on the slightly nasty side of Ketu.

From the movie: A TIME TO KILL

“There ain’t nothin’ more dangerous in this world than a fool with a cause.”

From the movie: RAT RACE

“I can do whatever I want. I’m eccentric.”
