Missing the Human Touch

When we talk about automation and job loss, we often conjure up larger than life images of what automation is supposed to look like. Robots taking over our factories for example, stealing our jobs, driving our cars and slowly pushing out good old humans from the labour market altogether, leaving them to fend for themselves.
