I absolutely agree with having a guilty pleasure because it is restorative and relaxing especially after a long day of trying to pull the right words for whatever type of project you’re working on. My personal opinion is that a writer who doesn’t read will never improve and a writer who doesn’t read for pure enjoyment will suffer from inhumane amounts of writers block.
