While I really like your analogy, I don’t think is a creme brûlée (US) vs creme brûlée (India) comparison. Freshdesk I think, is a creme brûlée (US) vs an equivalent/better dessert. Now this dessert that Freshdesk is creating does not have to Indian/US based/fusion etc., it is just the best dessert that is out there. P.S. If Freshdesk ever decide to actually make dessert, count me in as your “taster”.
