Wow! google is consolidating the data set for us!

Today google rolled a new search engine for the data scientist that looks really cool. It’s in beta version but does the job pretty well.

https://toolbox.google.com/datasetsearch

Earlier we had to remember lot of different websites to get the different set of data sets, But google has taken a really good initiative to consolidate and get have top most data set.

The different website what I was talking about that are like kaggle, data.gov.uk , ons.gov.uk sometime even wikipedia. but now it seems those day will goo soon.

I was just trying with couple of search :

Restaurants

The awesome thing is for all the data sets we have uniform title like Description, Content, Consumers and user-item ratings.

Couple of more screenshots are:

American Election datasets
Football scores

As if now it seems we need to go to other websites to download the datasets but I am hoping eventually will have the all the data sets on a single page and we can play around with that.

In my view this is a really big product after tensor flow.
