Previously they were more passive users than the content creators. However, these days we see a lot of content creators contributing to the community through their wonderful stories. Over the years, YouTube has launched amazing features for sure but it can do more with an interactive screen.

Let’s see how interactive YouTube improves the eCommerce aka B2C industry aka Influencer Marketing.

A video speaks more than a million words

On the eCommerce websites like Ikea, you might have noticed a few dots on the product picture that show the price and takes you to another window when clicked. These are called Hotspots. If your website is on Shopify then you can integrate a third-party app from the Shopify store for achieving this.

By this time you might have understood that the million words that I was talking about in the heading were the text in the YouTube video description.

  2. Go to the website
  3. You generally land on the home page
  4. Lot of options make your decision difficult

  1. Pause the video
  2. Click on the hotspot
  3. Go to the product page and buy

Every feature doesn’t need to have a painpoint. YouTube needs to shift focus from satisying a customer to delighting a customer.
