King Kong is a giant ape resemblance and a huge movie monster that has appeared in different media since 1933. There had many King Kong movie sequels ever since the King Kong movies were created and there were even remade movies that take place after years like the King Kong of 1933 but was released in the year 2005.

10. King Kong, 1933

King Kong is an American pre-Code adventure monster movie produced by director Merian Cooper with Ernest Schoedsack. The movie stars Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong and Bruce Cabot that opened in NYC on March, 1933, to rave the reviews. This movie has been ranked as the utmost horror movies by Rotten Tomatoes and this is the 20th greatest film of all time.

9. Son of Kong, 1933

The story of the movie is about a terrible project with the massive ape King Kong, with the promoter Carl Denham played by Robert Armstrong, who flees to New York to reject indictment from the grand jury. He sailed off with the friend Captain Englehorn played by Frank Reicher and soon been engaged with the singer Helene Peterson played by Helen Mack. When the crooked sea captain murdered the father of Helene, she runs away on board with Denham’s boat that leads to Kong’s house on Skull Island. There, the crowd is friends with Kong’s son that who defended them towards the resident dinosaurs.

King Kong Appears in Edo was a two part quiet period piece drama movie set during the period of Edo and am now considered lost film. The story happened one night with Chinami played by Reiko Mishima, the daughter of Reizaburo Ichikawa played as Hyoue Toba, who was mysteriously kidnapped. Hyoue tenders a big reward to save his daughter. Yuzuru Kawasaki played by Noboru Takashima and the different other guys employed by the Hyoue set regarding the search for Chinami.

The movie is about a monster ape that battles his robot replica and then falls for a lady played by Linda Miller from the commander’s played by Rhodes Reason expedition.

The movie features the stars Jeff Bridges, Jessica Lange and Charles Grodin as the lead roles in the film. It is about a huge ape that was imported to NYC after being captured for exhibition. When the research ship was sent to explore the island that was thought rich in oil and Mr. Jack Prescott, the paleontologist sneaks aboard, upon hearing odd rumors regarding the island.

It is about a movie director Luce Habit played by Rula Lenska who has been kidnapped to star in the latest African jungle film. Petty thief Ray Fay played by Robin Askwith discovered himself the amorous appeal of the giant lady gorilla which trail him towards London.

3. King Kong Lives, 1986

The film is an American monster movie by director John Guillermin. It is a sequel of the King Kong 1976 remake. It is about a huge ape that received a heart transplant, but runs off with the blood donor, the she-ape was having a baby. King Kong then, after being shot at the World Trade Center was kept alive from a coma for approximately 10 years in the Institute of Atlanta, through the care of Dr. Amy Franklin played by Linda Hamilton, a surgeon. Just to recover Kong’s life, Dr. Franklin performed a heart transplant, but gave Kong an artificial heart that is also a computer-monitored.

2. The Mighty Kong, 1998

The movie Mighty Kong is a straight-to-video animated and musical version of the typical King Kong story. Dudley Moore and Jodi Benson headed the cast of voice artists. The movie is about a showman that takes a huge ape to New York in the tune-filled edition of the 1933 classic movie. When Ann Darrow, the down-on-her-luck artist was looking for work, he met the movie director Carl Denham, he was the one that gives her a job in the new movie. They get on the Venture to run off for the movie shoot. They reach the island and then the natives that are being friendly with the crew, requested that Ann must be left down there to sacrifice to the huge ape King Kong.

The film is an epic monster adventure movie, co-written, directed and produced by Peter Jackson. These remakes movie stars Naomi Watts, Adrien Brody and Jack Black. King Kong narrates the tales of a determined moviemaker who compel his cast and then hired ship crew that will travel to the strange Skull Island. Then, they encounter there Kong, the legendary massive gorilla, who was captured and taken to the City of New York.
