Emma Watson’s Vanity Fair Photoshoot Shouldn’t Affect Anyone’s Respect For Her

I don’t have a problem with the picture. I think it’s kind of pretty — and exotic. (Not that I myself would appear like that in a million years because no one would want me to, believe me.) But I agree with with you that to label this anti-feminist is counterproductive at best. She looks pretty. She can pull it off. Why shouldn’t she? It would bother me if she were trying to sell a product or obtain something through her sexuality (it could be argued that she is, indirectly, I guess). I see the picture as artistic and sexually appealing … in a way, what’s not to like?
