The SAP Next-Gen Academy for Experience Management Makes its Fourth Stop in Bangalore, India

On November 26–27, the SAP Next-Gen Academy for Experience Management engaged 50+ faculties, customers, and partners at its fourth stop in Bangalore India on a roadshow that will cover eight locations worldwide. SAP along with its strong partners, HPI and Deloitte, hosted the SAP Next-Gen Academy for Experience Management to provide participants with expert insights and thought leadership on experience management linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The academy offered an engaging platform for education and integration of X data (experience management) and O data (operational data) linked to the SDG’s with sessions on the power of X+O, the potential of experience management to improve productivity and performance, and why the experience economy matters. The sessions covered customer experience, brand experience, product experience and employee experience. Keynote speakers from Deloitte and SAP shared insights on SAP solutions including SAP C/4HANA; Qualtrics, an SAP company; and SAP SuccessFactors, and showed how these technologies empower companies to help the world run better.
A design thinking session grouped participants in interdisciplinary teams and encouraged them to evaluate the role of X+O data from the perspective of various industries. The activity revealed relative ease in defining the O data but more difficulty in defining the X data. It encouraged the groups to use their imaginations and evaluate industries in the context of the experience economy where winners and losers of the future will be determined by the experiences they provide.
