Monument valley, which means the valley of rocks is a region situated at the Colorado Plateau. The monument valley consists of large sandstone foothills that attract thousands of tourists every year. The largest sandstone foothill rose to the height of 1000ft above the valley bed. This monument valley is located at the Arizona-Utah state line, nearby the Four Corners area. Archeological department have shown many evidence that proves the ancient Anasazi people inhibited at this valley until 1300 AD. Tourists should know about climatic conditions before moving to the tourist place. The temperature of Monument valley varies upper 80’s to low 90’s in the summer. The winter may be good for the tourists to visit this place as the temperature varies from upper 40’s to mid 50. Summer nights are cool and comfortable at this place. Winters are very good for the tourists as the snow will fall during the time which brings out the spectacular colors and different views of the valley.

Tourists can reach to this place through loop roads that runs through the valley. This road will be open for public from 6AM to 8.30PM during the summer season. In contrast, during winter season the place will be open from 6AM to 4.30PM.
