According to Google, Bard is an experiment based on LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) technology that lets you collaborate with generative AI. As a creative and helpful collaborator, Bard can supercharge your imagination, boost your productivity, and help you bring your ideas to life — whether you want help planning the perfect birthday party and drafting the invitation, creating a pro & con list for a big decision, or understanding really complex topics simply.

Below are the current limitations of Bard:

Access in selected countries :

US and UK only. For rest of the countries, the site shows access “Bard isn’t currently supported in your country. Stay Tuned”. There is no information when Google will open access to waitlist to other countries yet.

No direct login:

People in US and UK still need to join the waitlist and wait for approval. A person in US and UK who need to access bard, needs to have the following :

  1. A personal Google account. An account managed by parent, guardian, or Google Workspace admin is not allowed.
