Is Raising Kids in San Francisco Worth It?
Mollie McWilliams

I waited until I was well established in my career and bought an apartment with my spouse before having children. Yes, this means I am “comfortable” now, even though I come from an impoverished background.

I had my first kid at 39 and my second at 43, but I don’t regret any of it. San Francisco is a great place to raise a family, there is so much opportunity for children here. But my two daughters still share a room and that probably isn’t going to change anytime soon, if ever.
