Possibility Project — Day 39

We should all do something that makes us nervous, something that gets us out of our comfort zone.

If public speaking makes us nervous, then we should try doing it more.

If taking on a new leadership challenge makes us nervous, then we should accept it with glee instead of thinking it over.

Putting too much thought into doing something outside our comfort zone rarely translates into new accomplishments.

There’s a reason it’s called a comfort zone.

Unfortunately, in my experience, not much growth happens inside a comfort zone. We rarely learn anything new, and we rarely step into a world of possibilities.

It’s acceptable to visit our comfort zones, but we should reconsider living in it.

In my experience, doing something leads to change, change leads to growth and growth leads to possibilities.

If we want to experience new adventures, we must we willing to take action even if it makes us nervous (so long as it does not harm anyone).

To possibilities!
