“we should stop trying to make it possible for women to be engineers”

Sure, start right off with an ugly straw-man designed to maliciously mislead people about what the manifesto actually said, dehumanize its author, and drag the conversation down to a purely emotional level. Great start buddy.

“if anyone wishes to provide details as to how nearly every statement about gender in that entire document is actively incorrect,¹ and flies directly in the face of all research done in the field for decades, they should go for it. But I am neither a biologist, a psychologist, nor a sociologist”

…and yet you feel 100% certain that you’re right on this and that the author of the memo (who actually *is* a Harvard-trained biologist) has got the science all wrong; so wrong that it doesn’t even merit discussion or dissection and that it justifies unpersoning and viciously hounding him. What, other than ideological dogma, makes you so certain?
