Throat deep in rising water.
We strain our eyes to see through the mist.

Life is what we make out of it,
Come what may.
What we choose to keep and what we learn to let go.

Our life can be of our own making.
Rather than something thrown at us.

The deeper you feel, the more you may know pain
But the more you will know life.

The wits to mold and guts to shield.
