How to see the invisible

What if I told you I had access to an incredible innovation, something so powerful in its ability to create change that the tech bros would be in awe if they saw it. I’m talking about system-level transformation territory for all the major challenges we face right now.

That’s already pretty big. But what if I also told you this powerful innovation is available to everyone, everywhere, for free. There’s just one catch: it’s invisible, which explains why many of us miss it.

Most innovations so far: not very innovative

If you’ve been involved in system-level challenges — things like climate change, human wellbeing, or other elements of what we often hear described as the “poly-crisis” — then you are possibly skeptical right now. You will have noticed that even those in leading institutions with huge budgets and big names are not solving these issues. One promising innovation after another emerges, only to deliver yet another bunch of unmet needs. New technologies, interdisciplinary curricula, multi-stakeholder roundtables, downloadable apps, and on and on.
