How to Be Polite
Paul Ford

I love this article so much.

I have a really big personal space bubble. Sometimes, in order to be polite (especially re: other cultures), I allow others the rare opportunity to touch me. Sometimes a hug but more often a firm handshake. Nobody has touched my hair because it looks like straw and I’m too tall for that sort of bold move to be subtle and not awkward for them. And heaven help the person who touches my pregnant belly, if I ever have another one. Actually no, I’m much too polite to say anything. Id probably just take it like a boss and cry later.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
