Tale of Tolerance: Ironically intolerable
Anguish, very deep anguish would be the right word to describe the current debates raging in India about tolerance. The pain, heartburn like is felt by the true Indian citizens. Media, politicians they all have their agenda and they are paid or either earning from it but to malign the image of my country for the sake of intolerance would be the most wrongful thing to do. A nation is being kept unrest by a select few who have their own agenda and to hide their political failure but its ultimately we all are losing as Indians. We are the country that wins the war against our arch rival and still give their land back, we are the country that most easily allow banglabeshis, Nepalese and even Chinese to easily infiltrate our borders and to provide them shelter and food. We are the country that releases terrorists in order to save our highjacked plane. We are the country that don’t go on war even after kargil like or Mumbai like attacks on our soil as opposed to look what France, Russia and European countries are doing to fight ISIS such is our tolerance to even foreign terrorist and we think we Indians would hurt the feelings or make our fellow countrymen to tolerate heinous crimes of across the border terrorism. “Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam” has been our philosophy since ages, we have tolerated mughals and British for centuries all together and still people talk of intolerance. Just simple plain rubbish. And by threatening the tolerant of being intolerant the so called pseudo seculars are just testing the patience of the tolerant majority. Acceptance of all without defiance is in the genes of real Indians and those who are questioning it are either genetically originated from some other barbaric civilizations or they are so more naive than the child who keeps on demanding what is not right from its parents.
