 The Martial law may be considered as dark age for some. For me i’t may be one of the darkest ages of Philippine History. But let us all look to positive sides of the Marcos era.

The Marcos period had a huge impact on the Filipino Culture in art. There were several museum that was built during the era of Marcos because Imelda Marcos loves art and she is also a collector of art.

The museum built during Marcos era are Folk Arts Theater, Philippine International Convention Center, National Arts Center ,Metropolitan museum ,Cultural Center of the Philippines and etc .

During Marcos era the Government support for the arts was shown in the architecture and other cultural institutions commissioned by the first lady, Imelda R. Marcos.
