Hi Teresa, thank you for sharing your personal experience. It’s great that you finally felt a sense of appreciation in your school! My daughter’s school had an annual multicultural day, except that her school had predetermined countries picked out, which is not really authentic. Having the students work on their own culture is a better way to celebrate diversity and to celebrate the students.
