Paulina, I like that you take into account how the parents might feel and that you go out of your way to make them feel connected to you and the classroom. I enjoyed reading the excerpt “The Perils of Homework.” It made me a little sad especially because I can totally relate to it. Your original homework policy and strategies sound way better and I hope that I can do something similar in my future classroom. So, what happens to these children that don’t have access to computers and internet? Do they take homework sheets home? By the way, family reading night sounds like a lot of fun!
