Nothing wrong with programming, I’m doing it from a young age, but I don’t want to be a mere programmer once I grow up, There’s a great dearth of talent pool in other forms of Engineering now, You see less people going into Civil or say even Mettalurgical. Problem solving is required in all forms of engineering, but what the world needs right now is stop over-rating the software guys and get talent pool in other forms of engineering as well. There are too many coding, Time to produce some doing the real engineering.
