Travelling App : My first Sketch Visual Design Exercise

In order to get more familiar with Sketch,I had to copy the design of two screens of a Travelling App. The screens of reference were the followings ones :

At firs, it seemed quite easy but then I realized that I had to create all the icons (the logo, the Name icon — the Email icon — the Password icon — the social network icons and the menu icon).

It was a very good exercise to practice Sketch. I noticed that I made each icon more and more quickly.

I’ve learned how to handle many tools such as the Boolean Operations, the Mask etc and I also discovered the Noun Project where we can find icons for our design. I personally used it for the social network logos.

To me what was the most challenging was that I always wanted to make better so I spent a lot of time on tiny details. As the saying goes, the best is the enemy of the good.
