Resume In Person Drop Day
After graduation, it is very difficult task to find a proper job in a right time. As we all know unemployment is a big problem now-a-days as well as with the imbalance of economy and employment. Most of the people loose hope, due to not getting a job and even when they try and fail.
“Never give up” is a famous saying and we have to follow it while seeking for jobs. For this purpose we learn new strategy that is called “In Person Drop”. To know whether it works or not we have given with a project of it. There are some rules of it:
- Search for job through websites and newspapers
- Search about company in detail with the contact and information of its staff also like HR manager, Head and all
- Bring your upgraded resume
- Bring your upgraded cover letter
- Dress properly according to the job type
- Remember your elevator pitch properly
- Be polite and brief
- After dropping , take follow ups

For this purpose , I choose Punjab Academy near my university GP gate. I searched for head and find out that Miss Shaziya is its head and running this academy. There they teach children in evening of every class. So I prepared my self for it and went their. She welcomed me very well. I told her about my self and ask for the job as a teacher. She said to give a trial for 30 minutes, I did that. Than she respond very well in front of me and give me a hope that I will call you after thinking. Somehow I managed to take her number for follow ups. But after that she didn’t respond.
Next day I call her and ask about it , again she said I will tell you and cut the call. I continuously called her for 4–5 days, but she didn’t respond well. Today, I came to know she hire some other girl who not live in a hostel and I get disappointed. Because she demand a long commitment and finally she replied that hostel girls leave the job after their degree and I don’t handle this.
Now I thought next time I will not tell others that I am hosteled girl or try to convince them on long commitment that I can fulfill.
I will never give up!
