This reminds me of the Korean concept of han that we talked about last term. The way I understand it, han is the pain caused by sin. Han is also the root cause of a lot of sin, too. Its a complicated, intertwining of the two, but thinking about them together helps me feel more of the weight of the cycle. The way I see it, han is a lot like trauma, too.
