This little face. That spikey brown hair & button nose. The creation of this little life has changed mine forever.

“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.” ~Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh

I’ve long had an understanding of the concept of giving, & being of use to others as the root of all happiness & content in life. I have subconsciously always known that having a baby, a life to always give to and provide for, would help heal most of my vices and afflictions (ie. Alcohol drinking, overeating, overspending, etc.). Why did I do most of the “bad”, unuseful things that I used to do before I became a mother? The answer can be summarised into one word: boredom. I, along with everyone else, WE as human beings, whether we know it or not, have such an inherent need to give, and if we are not able to give as much as we NEED to, we are left feeling varying degrees emptiness, discontent, and boredom.

But NOW. Now I am never bored. I ALWAYS have someone to give to. I NEED to give to her. Her life depends on ME. My life right now feels so full & purposeful. Living in every beautiful moment. I am a Mom. This is Motherhood.

I Love You Forever, my dear, darling baby girl Shyanne Cheryl Rositzki. You ARE the Greatest Creation of my Life. 💖
