The Republicans are fractured. There is no general consensus to the Republican party. You claim that “no significant Democrat” opposes Hillary Clinton, yet Bernie Sanders polls higher than the majority of the Republican candidates in these polls.

There has been no discussion on the potential of Republican candidates, but in the media Bernie Sanders is already being discounted in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton is the Democratic candidate only if we allow ourselves to believe she is the only option.
