Thank you — I am going to use this in my class next week!

I teach introductory research methods in psychology. Most of my students have goals to be practitioners, so I sometimes have a hard time convincing them that learning about research methods is valuable to them as professionals and in their everyday lives. I am sure many of them have seen this video, and so I think this is a perfect opportunity to talk about how learning about research methods can make them better able to interact with the world and the information that they encounter on a day to day basis. We are in the middle of interpreting our results from the research study that we did as a class, but I may very well put that on pause for a class period and have them read and discuss your piece. If nothing else, I am going to make sure that I work it into the coursework before the end of the semester. Thank you very much for providing something that is both well written and that will be accessible to the students.
