I don’t think I could have put this better myself. I had a very similar response to the article.

I have had almost the polar opposite experience. I find dating women more difficult in terms of my body confidence and self esteem. I once dated someone who would compare our bodies. This made me feel very uncomfortable, even though I think she did it unknowingly. But I see this as something particular about my relationships with women more generally, and something that I can work on.

I also find many men to be very open about sex and attraction, especially if I am open about how I feel.
