I tried to make yoga work for me for about 10 years, prenatal yoga included. One day as I was in the ending meditation, fighting that monkey mind, I realized yoga wasn’t the thing to clear my head. It was so frustrating, and I was beating myself up over not being able to settle in. That was when I gave it up. It was a blessing, because I realized the things that really work for me are ceramics (I’m a potter), and lifting weights. Send me to a gym and I can lose myself for 30 minutes, full of focus on my body and mind. It’s awesome.
Thanks for asking, Jessica!
