It’s April, you know what that means! NaPoWriMo!

So its that time again, April. That means its time for National Poem Writing Month. I will be posting one poem a day for the month of April.

Due to the hectic uni and full time work life I now have, I have joined a little late. But I am not going to let that stop me.

NaPoWriMo Day 1–3 The Elegy

Good advice and chocolate cake - homemade.
TV always blarring, and Collingwood footy jumper wearing.
Stories of living in a castle that intrigued to no end.
A magic power of being able to make me smile and surprise trips to the shops.
Lemon tarts and sausage rolls.
Love and sadness hits at the same time.

NaPoWriMo Day 4–5 — The enigma

3-D glasses,
Spiked up and messy hair.
Chuck Taylor canvas shoes,
Worn and full of holes.
Eyes full of expression,
Sadness, emotion.
A long trench coat,
A smart sensible shirt.
Long brown pants.
Sonic screwdriver.
