Any free choice women make that is not the same that a man would typically make is framed as oppression, misogyny, patriarchy, etc.
These discourses generally just use gendered rights as a political football.

Anecdotal story for you:

My brother is a Marine. In the time that he served, he witnessed an outstanding female body builder go on birth control and gain weight as a result of the additional hormones. She was prescribed additional physical training and a restricted diet. She did not lose weight, no matter how hard she tried. Her male drill instructors tried to discharge her. If it wasn’t for her work ethic and the people in charge of paperwork that knew of her situation, she would have been kicked out. She was being discriminated against because of her weight. It wasn’t acceptable for a female Marine to be overweight. And yet, my brother has come across overweight, male Marines with terrible work ethics- those that weren’t making measurements and should have been dismissed… but they got to stay…
