I know I had a cybersecurity course specifically addressing these types of issues, so it’s an obvious mistake that tells the developer community we need to invest in training junior developers and reminding all of us to check for these types of flaws. The problem is that we often wait to test for code errors like this after the code has been written, and this needs to be something we teach developers to not write into their code in the first place because it’s much harder to find in a cybersecurity audit after the application code is being reviewed and tested.
