Astray

Astray: “Away from the correct path or direction.”

Sitting alone I wonder the unknown.

With my pen and pad sitting blank, its you I have to thank.

Passion and sparks waltz’s into my eyes. With my heart dancing like fireflies.

Stepping into the cool crisp night, I lay awake in fright.

Fright that bites.

Fright that slashes.

Fright that makes me loose my light.

I turn away in fear and shed a single tear.

Taking two steps back realizing, wonder is what you be, simply a lost ship at sea.

Your swift yet coy walk does all the talk.

I create a mental block.

Just thinking about you I bloom like a peacock.

With your white lies and wondered eyes I think its time to say goodbye.

I realize that I hate the fact that I'm simply in love with the mildew I call you.
