Varun Manian, is a third generation entrepreneur and the MD of Radiance Realty Developers India Ltd, one of the country’s leading real estate ventures. Born into one of Chennai’s most prominent families, it is the ‘Manian’ gene which pushed him to start out on his own. Although he has led a privileged life he believes in making one’s own mark and not resting on hereditary success. His mother, Ranjini Manian worked for a travel agency and his father, Kishore Manian handled a construction business. This meant that Varun grew up in a work charged environment.

The Manian roots are tight knit and his father, mother, sister and he share a very strong bond. Kishore Manian has instilled the idea that ethics are the core value of the family and despite their heavy work schedules, they ensure that they have one meal together every day. Varun Manian is thankful for the exposure he has received while growing up and he strongly believes that travelling has groomed him and he is the better for it.

Varun Manian completed his graduation in New York. This has given him a lifetime of experiences where he learned how to be independent and stand on his own two feet. Luxury never spoilt the hard worker in him and he learned to embrace the dignity in labour by completing the most menial tasks, all by himself. These experiences have made him what he is today.

Varun’s sharp business acumen is clear when he sets the targets for his business and leaves no space for ambiguity.
