I am fascinated by dreams!

Do some people have really boring regular dreams but if you’re a very creative person, then are your dreams are more creative?

Sleep = memories for that day stored.

Usually I forget my dreams seconds after I wake up. I’m sure most of you do too. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to record them every day. However I set a reminder on my phone to go off every day at 6am: Write down your dreams. Since the first thing I do when I wake up is reach for my phone to check the…

We all spend A LOT of time on our phones. So it just makes sense that we try make that time as positive an experience as we can. Who wants to look at things that make them sad or annoyed?

Identify what annoys you.

For me that was:

∙Annoying junk email subscriptions I signed up to when I wanted to win competitions.

∙Work emails sometimes stress me out.

∙Bikini models on insta and fitness accounts.

∙My cluttered Facebook feed.

∙Annoying influencers on Instagram.

I realised I was spending so much time letting these tiny annoyances get to me when I…

Berna Anat is hilariously real.

In January 2018 she grabbed a bag-pack and set out with her boyfriend to embark on a whirlwind worldwide adventure. They have been travelling ever since. Currently they have set up home in Taiwan and as for where they’ll travel next, who knows? That is the wonder of Berna and Peter’s lives right now.

This time of year a lot of us are heading off on vacation. Vacations are for relaxation, laughing with friends and family, good food, lazy days by the pool or at the beach.

However some of us won’t want to stop writing. Whether we have to write for work and have deadlines to meet or simply want to journal our vacation experiences or just write for the pure joy of it.

It’s perfectly acceptable to be reading on vacations and there are hundreds of articles dedicated to beach reads every summer but writing is sometimes seen as an isolating activity…

We’ve heard it said countless times, but somehow it sounds better coming out or Rihanna’s mouth.

You cannot change someone.

Simple as. We all know this but still we live in hope.

Talking to British Vogue last month, Rihanna said:

“I get a lot of boy-advice questions,” she said. “I think a lot of people meet people and then they’re dating the idea of what the person could become, and that person never shows up and then they’re just mad disappointed.”

Rihanna went on to leave readers with a key piece of advice, adding, “A person can always get better…

  1. She’s the 90’s answer to a modern day Taylor Swift.

2. She doesn’t seem to have a set writing schedule.

3. She always works at home. She never rocks up to a coffee shop or to a shared office. It’s nice to mix it up every now and then girl besides from just switching from your bed or desk.

4. How is she paid SO well, she is able to eat out all the time and buy designer shoes?

5. Her friends support her at fancy work events but I never hear them gush about an article of hers they’ve…

Working from home is awesome.

It really is the best. You’re literally working from the comfort of your own home, all your favourite snacks are at hand and you don’t have a bitch of a commute to contend with.

Working from home also requires A LOT of self motivation and dedication. If you could choose from two offices to work in, which office of these offices would make you more excited to go to work?

We all have days on Medium when we don’t want to write. So here is a bunch of things you can do here instead:

Finish all of your drafts.

Only once they’re finished will you know if they are worth deleting or publishing. These ideas came to you in bursts of inspiration so you owe it to yourself to see them through. Going back to them with a clear head and fresh eyes might even benefit you. There’s nothing nicer than on a day of writers block, having a list of finished drafts to choose from and inspire you.

Read your bookmarked stories

I always bookmark stories. Sometimes its…

Sitting alone at a desk all day can stunt your productivity. You have no colleagues to hold you accountable or cheer you on and no boss sitting a few feet away to motivate you.

Working from home can be hard. What really helps keep you productive is if you are waking up in the morning and sitting down at a desk that excites and inspires you. It sounds cheesy but if you’re a visual person I promise it will help. Who wants to sit at a dreary dull desk in a darkened room all day banging at a keyboard?

‘Take a Mental Health Day’ is a phrase we see often online when it comes to wellness and self-care.

But what does it really mean?

Many people think that mental health days are when people with mental health issues curl up in bed all day and ignore the world. This isn’t true. Mental health days are days you dedicate solely to yourself when you do whatever you have to do to recharge your batteries.

I just want to say I don’t have any qualifications in order to tell you how to spend you time or improve your mental health. I…
