A VISIT TO ARMY MUSEUM
Extra curriculum activities are very important for students. It helps them to get out of their box and to do something different from academic routine. It also enhances the creative abilities of the students. It can be sports, trips, fanfare, and plays, etc. Sports are very important for a healthy life. Funfair gives us an opportunity to enjoy which is also very important for a healthy life.
Recently our college planned a trip for the students. So, we decided to visit Army Museum Lahore and Mall of Lahore. Army Museum is a wonderful place to visit. It recalls us the hardships of refugees which they face during migration. As we all know migration itself is a very painful process. It also remembers us the hard and strict life routine of Army officers, who are ready to sacrifice their life to save their country.
Army museum contains a big hall which is divided into different parts to show us the different sides of the same picture that how we get our country to walk freely and to perform our religious rituals. One part is specified for the martyrs of pak indo war of 1965. In this part, we saw the collection of weapons used in that war. On all they wrote the short history behind this war pictures of martyrs and their short biography is also posted on that wall. One part is dedicated to martyrs of APS.
There is also a 3D room. In which they give us a heart threatening flash of war. One part of the hall is dedicated to the life of Army officers in Sya chin . They design scenery which shows us the hard and strict duty of Army officers.
Another part is about migration during partition. They create a scenery of train full of refugees arrived on Lahore railway station. That scenery is mind blowing which actually tells us the heart threatening story of Migration. This visit makes us more patriotic. We read such stories much time but this tour makes us more emotional and protective towards our duties as being Pakistani. I think everyone should visit the Army Museum and we should appreciate the efforts of Pakistan Army and also Artist, who realizes us our responsibilities through their artistic abilities.
After this, we go to the Mall of Lahore. The Mall of Lahore was constructed by the Bahria. The Chief Executive Officer of this mall is Malik Riaz. Mall of Lahore s designed by Nayyar Ali Dada, a very famous architect of Pakistan. Alhamra Hall and Kaddafi stadium is also designed by him. We had lunch there. We ate a burger, spaghetti, fries, and juices, etc. Then we came back at 2:30. Overall it is a good experience. This trip adds more to knowledge. We also enjoy a lot.
