She’s definitely either Luke’s daughter or the daughter of one of Luke’s slaughtered Jedi trainees. Great article, but you missed one of the hints the movie dropped regarding her: she has seen the planet where Luke is hiding before. When Kylo Ren reads her mind he describes the exact location pulled “from her dreams”. We then see her give a bit of a startled look at her surroundings when she finally arrives at Luke’s hideout. She knows that place. It could, admittedly, be a force thing, but what is the likelihood of a person raised on a desert planet dreaming of an island of green surrounded by a vast ocean when she’s never seen vegetation before (she is amazed by the jungle planets’ plants and colors) and have that turn out to be exactly what Luke’s hideout look like without some memory to draw from?
