Thanks for a decent read. Only thing is, this part reads a little awkwardly, and perhaps needs some qualification added:

“advancements in technology and transportation making it easier than ever before for people to be with and communicate with people like themselves, no matter where they are in the world”

….its only easier for those that have the wealth to access those advancements. Mobility, technology and connection are privileges too.
