Super inspiring and practical read, thank you for hands-on tips on improving user research interviewing!

I find the method of just staying silent, and encouraging looking back at the test participant, underestimated and extremely helpful. When the user expresses an opinion, I often find it more useful than the sometimes triggering question of Why? — which unintentionally can make the person to become defensive, and then more hesitant to giving further feedback.

I would have liked to see “Embrace awkward silence” as its own h2, but appreciate that it’s included under the follow-up question headline!
