Gods ain’t Almighty
Growing up, I just couldn’t believe in a God.
How could I?
They said ‘He’s an Almighty’ in their whole devotion and I’d wonder if he could create a rock that he couldn’t possibly lift. If he can’t, he ain’t. if he could, he ain’t.
And if they had one false belief, what logic supports another one? His Existence. Same devotion? Weak.
What worrisome I’ve realized in the past years is that our gods ain’t even as mighty as a man is.
A man can lie, kill, lust and die. Can our Gods do any of that?
There’s a huge difference between ‘doesn’t’ and ‘couldn’t’, one tells us about choosing not to while other tells us about inability to do so.
The Gods men speak of, lie in the domain of inability rather than choice. All such gods can ever do is create this existence, keeping a check of good will and sins of every individual, write destinies and grant wishes.
What if they don’t? Can they ever choose not to?
Such domain of work is that of a machine, not of a conscious individual, it doesn’t require any intellect. Ain’t they supposed to be smarter than us? More than us?
This raises another question, Are these Gods even Alive? Do they even have a soul?
Or are they mere slaves to a Man’s Imagination? After all how can a Man ever create something mightier than its own might?
