The number of times I’ve had men offer to host me while traveling and showed up only to have them put their moves on me is ridiculous (not AirBnB, acquaintances)…spare bedroom is non-existent, not cleaned, wouldn’t you be more comfortable with me, etc.

I am so sorry that you had to go through that! I am also sorry that men like that create a bad reputation for the gender and give women cause to fear.
