The “No-Shit Conclusion” to Successful Team Innovation
Adaptive Path

I really enjoyed thinking about the conclusions in this! When I read, “I think that we set out to behave in a certain way and have really great intentions for the most part, but our cultures often carry contradictions,” I agree and would add that the people charged with carrying out cultural values are just that — people — and thus carry their own contradictions. It’s the same point and evidence, but I think it’s important to recognize the role an individual’s leadership plays and ask how we tackle that. In this case, I think it’s a discussion among leadership and the team that takes it further and asks: “OK, when we say we’re a learning culture, how does that play out in day-to-day conversations? What biases and personal tendencies are we bringing to the table we need to be aware of so we can stay true to being a learning culture?”

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
