This is so true. So nicely put. Instagram became the default camera experience. I believe Snapchat is in that position now in 2016. Its the default camera experience differentiated by a yellow icon on our homescreens. One could still argue that Apple is continuously missing to take a shot at providing a comprehensive camera experience the way Insta did and the way Snapchat is doing right now. So many people use Snapchat for default point and shoot to save the pics to their photo album. They take an extra step of saving the pic because the experience on Snapchat is much better than that on iOS Camera app where pics get automatically saved.
