Sniper Extraordinaire

As one of the top 200 snipers in the world, Lucky Bisht has an impressive military background. He underwent an intensive 26-week training program in Israel, where he mastered the art of precision shooting. During this training, he learned techniques like hitting a target from 100 meters away with a single shot, even in challenging conditions like poor lighting. Bisht’s skills were put to the test when he was wrongly accused of a double murder in the Raju Pargai and Amit Arya case. Despite the lack of evidence, he was arrested and spent nearly 4 years in jail, moving between 11 different prisons. This experience gave him a firsthand look at the dark realities of the Indian prison system.

The Harsh Realities of Indian Jails

Bisht describes the horrific conditions he endured in jail — cramped cells shared by dozens of inmates, inadequate food, and rampant corruption and abuse. Inmates were subjected to constant threats, physical violence, and even sexual assault, with little recourse for seeking help. The guards themselves were often complicit in these abuses, accepting bribes to turn a blind eye. Bisht narrowly escaped becoming a victim himself, using his quick thinking and combat skills to deter the other inmates. He recounts one chilling incident where a powerful jailer threatened him, only to back down when Bisht calmly explained that he could kill a man in just 2–3 seconds.

From Commando to Spy

Bisht’s journey into the world of espionage began when he joined the Indian Army and underwent elite commando training. He was part of a select group sent to Israel for advanced instruction, where he honed skills like firing a weapon accurately in just 4 seconds. After returning to India, Bisht joined the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), India’s external intelligence agency. He describes the rigorous selection process and intense mental training required to become a covert operative. Agents must undergo extensive background checks and psychological evaluations to ensure their loyalty and mental fortitude.

Espionage Exploits and Adversaries

As a R&AW agent, Bisht was involved in numerous clandestine operations, often in hostile territory. He shares stories of infiltrating enemy lines, conducting surveillance, and even eliminating high-value targets. However, he is careful not to divulge specific details that could compromise national security. Bisht is particularly concerned about the threat posed by China, which he believes is India’s biggest adversary. He recounts an incident where China’s actions nearly changed the global balance of power, nearly betraying India in the process.

Protecting the Powerful

In addition to his espionage work, Bisht also served as a personal bodyguard for some of India’s most influential figures, including the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He explains the intricate layers of Z+ security that surround these VIPs, with specialized teams responsible for different aspects of protection. Bisht also shares a chilling anecdote about an encounter with the notorious gangster Chhota Rajan, who tried to recruit him into the underworld. This highlights the deep connections between organized crime and politics in India.

A Life of Service and Sacrifice

Throughout his remarkable career, Bisht has faced immense challenges and dangers, from wrongful imprisonment to assassination attempts. Yet, his unwavering commitment to serving his country has never wavered. He continues to share his experiences, hoping to inspire others and shed light on the extraordinary world of India’s intelligence and security forces. As Bisht’s story demonstrates, the path of a true patriot is often paved with personal sacrifices. His courage, resilience and dedication serve as a testament to the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to protect India’s interests, both at home and abroad.
