There’s nothing wrong with changing names of highways or airports to commemorate our heroes but like you said, that’s a myopic approach, if not supplemented by concrete actions. We are naturally very emotional people and tend to resort to emotional statements immediately rather than calming down and giving thought to what actually needs to be done. Secondly we really need to stop mourning the idea that we won’t see anyone like Edhi ever again and embrace the fact that we ourselves can become the change we wish to see.
