I get my information from the latest peer-reviewed, evidence-based medical studies in reputable journals. (PubMed is a good place to start if you are interested). It’s always good to have a healthy diet for lots of reasons (mine is mostly plant-based) but unfortunately it cannot cure cancer. I just checked with the American Cancer Society, and according to them, about 80 percent of cancers are genetic or random, while 20 percent may be linked to things like obesity, smoking, lack of activity, and poor nutrition. However, there is no direct proof of causation here, only a connection — which is an key distinction to keep in mind.
