Ride Sharing Services is indeed a new mode of how consumers are travelling… it does have its pros and definitely have its cons as well. The pro is anybody can sign up with these RSS and get an opportunity to have extra cash when you need it. The down side here is how does these RSS ensure that the person they do sign up is a person who will not do harm to their credibility/company’s name. I believe that it is of importance that drivers are complying to the legal requirements of driving passengers in their respective countries… at the end of the day it is the company’s reputation, peoples safety and security that needs protection and that is why there is a need for compliance to laws. The company should be registered with the revenue agency as well as the transport agency of the country this way anybody who registers with them to be a provider of rss service is easily checked through partnership with these government agencies and that way people are safe, people can have extra way of earning money and the company ensures its names protection by way of compliance :) its a win win for all… i know this is no easy feat to link all these agencies and companies together but nothing is impossible if all parties put their head together and find a way for it to happen. Oh i forgot to add the police as well should be linked to this :)
